Board games at the library, a family activity
Board games no longer fit the traditional definition. Over the last 10 years the numerous games of skill, strategy, memory, deduction, knowledge and general culture that have appeared have expanded the meaning of “board game” beyond a simple pastime. Game playing promotes healing, provokes thought, generates togetherness, strengthens relationships, builds character, fosters learning and aids development. You are invited to attend board game afternoons with our enthusiastic hosts, Natalie Poirier and Patrick Richard. A wide range of games will be available.
This Winter the board game afternoons will take place at the Marie-Uguay Library from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the following Sundays: February 1st, March 8, April 19 and May 3.
